The congress had a large attendance of companies from the sector and coming from all over the world geography, exposing the evolution of the LNG sector. The first day was devoted to analyze and development of LNG in terrestrial facilities in two forums, one related to broad-based LNG projects, and another forum, more focused on small-scale LNG.

Important speakers, including Stefan Rickaert – Vice President Gas at Tractebel Engineering – showed us the possibilities of small-scale LNG business development and ecology, demonstrating that LNG growth has only just begun.

The second day delved deeper into the maritime sector – Bunkering and ship LNG fuel tanks – and the reasons and arguments for switching other energies to the LNG.

Speakers such as Mercedes de Juan de Valencia port, Karien Dassen of Anthony Veder or Carlos Guerrero from Bureau Veritas, gave in their respective areas a very clear vision of how the maritime sector evolves towards the LNG. Providing us with multitude of details of ongoing projects and under development, which approached attendees to a reality: The LNG has reached the maritime sector to stay and grow.

In the last lectures, the LNG was shown in the vehicle sector, where Mr. Eric Mattheeuws explained his experience after 6,000,000 miles of LNG.

At least a great Congress that helped everybody to understand the big scope and future that LNG has.
